It may not have been the best fishing ever (let’s blame the wind and tides…), but a great fun day in glorious sunshine! The event was Groveley’s annual staff fishing competition around Poole Bay and harbour, on board charter fishing boat Rocket.
The winner was guest Martin Small, MD of Small Engineering of Wimborne, who landed six different species.
The all-day, bait-supplied species competition was sponsored by Dorset-based engineering tooling company Trucut Tools… who’s Eddie Taylor joined in the fishing and presented the trophy.
