Child of Hope: Relief for Mum after daughter’s surgery

Mum Annet is smiling again with the recovery of her six-year-old daughter, Peace, who has suffered with a swollen umbilical cord since birth. Closer examination revealed a hole in the remaining part of the cord, prompting referral to a specialist health facility.

Surgery was carried out and, after three days, Peace was transferred to our medical partner Joy Hospice for intensive care. Latest medical reports indicate that, despite a cough, Peace is now recovering well. Mum Annet is one of the ladies we have set up in her own small business.
