Groveley team leader Alistair Wood has qualified from Bournemouth University with a First Class degree in Engineering.
His project during the degree was to consider how different materials and printing parameters affect the reinforced strength of printed plastic – which he is continuing to explore for Groveley to use in 3D printing production of fixture applications.
Alistair studied for his degree with part-time flexible learning and majored on the Manufacturing Management pathway.
At the same time, he took part in an in-house Project Management training scheme with four more of our staff and achieved Prince2 qualifications.
Alistair is now looking at various options for his Masters Degree.
