Ladies happy in slum in business

Child of Hold, Uganda: These ladies are very happy with the success of their small businesses, set up under Child of Hope’s IGA scheme. 

Angela and Laira have been running businesses in the school grounds for five and three years respectively – selling local snacks and fruit to pupils and staff at break time. Laira’s wares include avocados, mangoes and roasted groundnuts, while Angela’s include cassava, Irish chips and pancakes.
