It’s day 9 of our daft Christmas video: The CoH 12 days of Christmas! Enjoy… and catch a glimpse of slum life and how we wage war on poverty for these kids.

Right now we are watching a range of workmen putting the last touches to the top floor of our school-in-the-slum – gutters, an internal ceiling and plastering the external walls. These guys all live within the slum and it's a joy for us to be able to provide paid work for willing hands. Not just them but all our staff... teachers, administrators, social workers, cleaners... all who commit themselves on a daily basis to ensure that the futures of our children far exceed where they have reached themselves.
